This is a travel opportunity with a 13-week commitment and a minimum of 30 guaranteed hours each week. Broadening your expertise in a respected hospital environment, youll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, encounter a variety of cases, and gain exposure to new workplace methodologies and leadership styles. Qualifications / Experience:
- Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Hospital-based therapy experience preferred
- Active state licensure or eligibility in California
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt to new processes and settings
Responsibilities:
- Deliver skilled occupational therapy services to hospital patients under the supervision of an occupational therapist
- Assist in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Document patient progress and update medical records accurately
- Educate patients and families on therapy interventions and activities of daily living
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to care coordination
