Schedule:
- Days, Monday through Friday
- 8-hour shifts
Desired Qualifications:
- Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license or eligibility for Arizona
- Experience delivering therapy in a hospital or skilled nursing facility setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of patient assessment and development of treatment plans
- Ability to support patients in utilizing adaptive equipment and assistive devices
- Effective communication and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
- Collaborate in planning and executing individualized treatment strategies
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to guide patient goal setting
- Administer targeted therapeutic exercises to improve motor skills and functional ability
- Educate patients on adaptive equipment to promote independence
- Diligently monitor patient progress and update care plans accordingly
- Work closely with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to maximize patient outcomes
