Assignment Details:

  • 13-week assignment
  • 36 hours guaranteed weekly

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
  • Current state license or eligibility
  • Previous hospital experience preferred
  • Experience with therapy for adult/geriatric patients a plus
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Interest in veteran-focused care

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy interventions under the supervision of an occupational therapist
  • Assist in evaluation and implementation of treatment plans for patients
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Collaborate with care teams to enhance patient outcomes
  • Educate patients and families on in-home exercise and adaptive strategies
