Schedule:
- 13-week assignment
- 36 hours guaranteed per week
Desired Qualifications:
- Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license
- Successful completion of an accredited COTA program
- Previous experience in hospital or acute care settings preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Current BLS/CPR certification
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy support services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
- Assist with care planning, patient evaluations, and therapeutic interventions tailored to veterans
- Document progress and adapt treatment plans in accordance with patient needs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families on recovery strategies and adaptive equipment use
