Job Description: VocoVision California is looking for an enthusiastic Virtual School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team on an hourly basis. This position involves collaborating with educators, students, and parents in a virtual learning setting to assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the academic success and overall well-being of our students.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct virtual assessments to identify speech and language disorders among students.
2. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication challenges in collaboration with teachers and parents.
3. Provide virtual therapy sessions using evidence-based practices to support students' speech, language, and social communication skills.
4. Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and other professionals to integrate speech-language goals into the overall education plan.
5. Monitor and document student progress, adjusting intervention plans as needed.
6. Participate in virtual Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and collaborate with the IEP team to ensure comprehensive support for students.
7. Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in the field of speech-language pathology.

Requirements:

1. Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
2. Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
3. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
4. Experience working with school-aged children is preferred but not required
5. Proficiency in virtual therapy platforms and technology is preferred but not required.
6. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a virtual education team.

Hourly Compensation: Competitive hourly rate commensurate with experience and school/district budgets.
