Sunbelt Staffing is thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join a high school intellectual disabilities classroom near Macedonia, South Carolina.

Position Details:

Location: Near Macedonia, South Carolina
Start Date: 2024-2025 School Year
Responsibilities: Classroom management, lesson plan development and delivery, assessment
Student Population: High School Intellectual Disabilities Classroom
Licensure Required: South Carolina Special Education License and Department of Education Certificate
Employment Type: Full-Time Position

Responsibilities:

Manage the classroom environment to create a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to meet the diverse needs of students with intellectual disabilities
Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and families to ensure student success and well-being
Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and district requirements

Qualifications:

Valid South Carolina Special Education License
Department of Education Certificate
Experience working with students with intellectual disabilities preferred
Strong classroom management skills and ability to differentiate instruction
Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
