Job Description

Are you a Special Education Teacher looking for a new opportunity? Sunbelt is currently actively seeking special education teachers for a upcoming contract position in the Alexandria, VA area. This position entails servicing students in MIPA and Life Skills classes. The ideal candidate will be able to work with students with complex needs, nonverbal students, and students with significant behavioral needs. We are seeking a candidate to work the following:

Part-Time
- 20 hours per week
Multi-Intervention Program for Students with Autism (MIPA)
- Meet goals of the program which are to improve communication, on-task behavior, independent life skills, and the ability to relate to other students.
Working with students with complex verbal, behavioral, and intellectual needs.

Qualifications:

State Specific Special Education Certification
