Job Description

Sunbelt Staffing is currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Special Education Teacher for an immediate full-time position in a school-based setting near Desert West Park, Arizona. If you're passionate about making a difference in the lives of K-5th grade students with autism, we want to hear from you!

Position Details:

Location: Near Desert West Park, Arizona
Start Date: ASAP
Student Population: K-5th graders, 12 students, Autism (Mild/Mod)
Teaching Environment: 1:1 and small group settings
Responsibilities:
- Manage caseload of IEPs for students with autism spectrum disorder
- Develop and implement individualized lesson plans to meet students' needs
- Ensure compliance with special education regulations and standards
Certification Required: Special Education Teacher Certification - Cross Cat

Qualifications:

Valid Arizona teaching certification in Special Education
IVP Fingerprint Cards and additional AZ certifications required
CPI Training preferred
Experience with behavior management techniques and strategies
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage IEPs and lesson planning effectively
