Sunbelt Staffing is thrilled to announce an immediate opening for a dedicated Special Education Teacher in the Beachwood, Ohio area. If you're passionate about making a positive impact on students' lives and have experience in 5th-grade math co-teaching, we want to hear from you!

Position Details:

Location: Near Beachwood, Ohio
Start Date: ASAP
Grade Level: 5th Grade Math Co-Teaching
Position Type: Full-Time or Part-Time (3 days per week)
Student Load: 12 students in a math co-teaching setting
Support Staff: Additional supportive staff will be present in the classroom during some periods to assist students as needed

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with general education teachers to co-teach 5th-grade math curriculum
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs
Utilize differentiated instruction techniques to meet the needs of all students in the classroom
Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as necessary
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students

Qualifications:

Valid Ohio teaching license with Special Education endorsement
Experience in co-teaching math at the 5th-grade level preferred
Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
