Special Education Teacher Needed for 24/25 SY – Aurora, CO
A school district in Aurora, CO is seeking a Special Education Teacher to fill an open position. Work with a school district that supports its teachers and students. This district needs someone who can hop in and lead their students with quality aids and services. This position would start at the beginning of the 2024/2025 school year.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in special education or related fields
  • Must have an active CO Special Education Teachers License.
  • Previous Special Education Teaching experience preferred but not required.
  • Pass a Drug screening and background check (fingerprints).
  • Must have 2-3 positive Supervisor references.

Job Specifics:

  • Full-time, 35 hours a week
  • Caseload: Work with Middle and High school students.
  • Mild – moderate student disabilities. Standard Special Education Teacher duties.
  • Further caseload details will be discussed in the interview and placement will be based off experience and preference.
