Full-Time Special Education Teacher Job - Interviewing Now!

Location: Augusta, GA

Employer: Sunbelt Staffing

Position Type: Contracted, Full-Time (Next School Year)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

Caseload: K-12, Preferential Experience with Autism and Behavioral Challenges

Qualifications:

Certification in Special Education in the state of Georgia is mandatory
Experience working with students with autism and behavioral challenges is preferred
Ability to communicate critical information effectively via email
Additional certifications, preferred grade levels, or unique skills are advantageous

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement specialized instructional plans for students with diverse needs
Provide direct support and interventions to students with autism and behavioral challenges
Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and support staff to create a supportive learning environment
Utilize effective behavior management techniques to promote positive student outcomes
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including progress reports and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
