Job Title: Special Education Teacher

Location: Carpinteria, CA

Status: Accepting Candidates to become permanent team members of the district

Discipline(s) Needed: Special Education (SPED) x6

Start Date/End Date: August 22, 2024 - June 11, 2025

Hours per week: Full-time

Number of Schools/Ages: K-12

Caseload/Job Details:

3 mild-mod
3 mod to severe
Elementary and secondary

Credential Requirements:

Valid Special Education (SPED) credentials

Join our team in Carpinteria, CA, and become an integral part of our Special Education department. We are currently seeking dedicated Special Education Teachers to fill six positions, providing support to students with varying needs across elementary and secondary levels.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs.
Provide instruction and support tailored to the unique needs of each student.
Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure the success of students with disabilities.
Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and instructional materials to engage students and promote academic and social-emotional growth.
Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed to ensure achievement of academic goals.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and services provided.
