Job Description

What you bring:

  • Current and unrestricted Pennsylvania teaching license as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI)
  • Experience working with students across elementary, middle, and high school settings
  • Expertise in adaptive technology, accessible instructional materials, and individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Strong collaborative skills to effectively partner with district staff, families, and service providers
  • Excellent organizational abilities to manage an itinerant caseload and multiple sites
  • Commitment to empowering students to achieve their fullest potential

Your role will include:

  • Delivering direct and consultative services to K-12 students with visual impairments
  • Assessing student needs and developing individualized instructional plans
  • Traveling between various schools throughout York County to support diverse students
  • Training and coaching educators and staff in strategies for visual accessibility
  • Maintaining thorough, timely documentation for compliance and progress tracking
  • Serving as a valued member of multidisciplinary teams within Southern, South Eastern, and Dallastown districts
