Position Details:
- Contract Dates: August 17, 2026 May 26, 2027
- Schedule: 25 hours per week
Qualifications:
- Current Kentucky Special Education (SPED) License with Visually Impaired (VI) endorsement
- Experience working with children or students who are visually impaired preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction to students with visual impairments in educational settings
- Adapt curriculum and educational materials for accessibility
- Collaborate with general education teachers and other service providers
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to individualized student plans
- Provide guidance to staff and families to support student learning
