Position Details:

  • Schedule: 25 hours per week

Qualifications:

  • Current Kentucky Special Education (SPED) License with Visually Impaired (VI) endorsement
  • Experience working with children or students who are visually impaired preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized instruction to students with visual impairments in educational settings
  • Adapt curriculum and educational materials for accessibility
  • Collaborate with general education teachers and other service providers
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to individualized student plans
  • Provide guidance to staff and families to support student learning
