Job Description

A position is available for a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) to work during the 2025-2026 school year in a K-12 public school setting located in Virginia Beach, VA. This contract role offers a structured schedule from August 25, 2025, through June 5, 2026, with an average workweek of 37.5 hours.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting assessments and evaluations of students with visual impairments
  • Developing and implementing specialized instructional strategies to meet the unique learning needs of visually impaired students
  • Adapting the general education curriculum to ensure accessibility
  • Collaborating closely with other educators and school staff to achieve student learning goals
