Job Description

A contract opportunity is available for a Teacher of the Visually Impaired providing telehealth services. This role supports K-12 students and requires delivering specialized instruction tailored to the needs of visually impaired learners.

Location: Hartwell, GA

Qualifications:

  • Valid Georgia License for a Teacher of the Visually Impaired
  • Experience working with visually impaired students
  • Ability to deliver telehealth instruction effectively
  • Strong communication and technology skills

Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized instruction and support for visually impaired students via telehealth
  • Assess student needs and develop individualized educational strategies
  • Collaborate with educators and families to enhance student learning outcomes
  • Maintain accurate documentation and respond to program requirements

Schedule and Hours:

  • Approximately 6-7 hours per month
  • One day per week
