Job Description
A specialized role is available for educators skilled in teaching students with visual impairments through telehealth services. This position supports middle and elementary school students, focusing on tailored educational strategies to enhance learning experiences and outcomes.
Location: Gainesville, GA
Contract Type: Part-Time for the current school year, transitioning to Full-Time for the following school year
Duration: March 2026 through May 20, 2026
Caseload: 7 students
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering both direct and indirect therapy services to meet each students unique needs
- Managing individual case files with comprehensive documentation and progress updates
- Tracking and reporting student development to inform instructional decisions
Qualifications:
- Valid Georgia Teacher of the Visually Impaired License
- Minimum of two years experience working with visually impaired students
