Virtual Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) South Carolina
Full-Time | 1099 Contract | Immediate Start End of School Year
VocoVision is seeking a dedicated Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) to provide virtual services to students at a South Carolina school district. This is a full-time, remote opportunity for the remainder of the current school year.
Position Details:
- Full-Time (3540 hours per week)
- Fully Remote (Teletherapy/Virtual Instruction)
- Contract Type: 1099
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: End of Current School Year
- Caseload: K12 (details provided during interview)
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative vision services to students with visual impairments
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct virtual assessments and progress monitoring
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff
- Adapt instructional materials to meet student needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state guidelines
Qualifications:
- Active South Carolina TVI Certification
- Previous experience working as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired
- Comfortable providing virtual/teletherapy services
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as a 1099 contracto
