Job Description

A part-time position is available for a teacher specialized in serving students with visual impairments, providing telehealth support for K-12 learners. This role is based in Alpena, Michigan, and involves 5 hours of service per week during the 2026-2027 academic year. The contract period tentatively spans from August 24, 2026, to June 3, 2027.

Key qualifications and experience include:

  • Active Michigan teaching license for the visually impaired (MI license verification required).
  • Experience working with K-12 students who have visual impairments.
  • Ability to deliver instruction via telehealth, with onsite work preferred but virtual coaching accepted.
