Required Qualifications:
- Valid Washington TVI (Teacher of the Visually Impaired) Certification
- Successfully fingerprinted through OSPI (Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction)
- Experience supporting students with visual impairments in school settings preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction and support for a caseload of approximately 8 students with varying service needs
- Collaborate with IEP teams, families, and multidisciplinary professionals to facilitate educational access
- Adapt curriculum and learning environments to support visually impaired learners
- Maintain accurate records and document progress in accordance with district and state guidelines
