Qualifications and Experience
- Valid Florida Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) license
- Previous experience working with visually impaired students in an educational setting

- Ability to adapt instructional materials for accessibility
- Committed to fostering a positive and supportive learning atmosphere
Your Responsibilities
- Deliver tailored instruction and develop individualized lesson plans based on student needs
- Assess students progress and adjust teaching techniques accordingly
- Provide guidance and resources to classroom teachers, staff, and families
- Support the development of independent living and orientation/mobility skills
- Utilize assistive technology and adaptive materials in day-to-day lessons
- Advocate for full participation and engagement of students in all school activities
- Maintain organized and thorough documentation in compliance with program standards
This position features a Monday-Friday 37.5-hour workweek, providing structured time to work closely with students and colleagues.
