Qualifications and Experience

• Valid Florida Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) license
• Previous experience working with visually impaired students in an educational setting

Your Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored instruction and develop individualized lesson plans based on student needs
• Assess students progress and adjust teaching techniques accordingly
• Provide guidance and resources to classroom teachers, staff, and families
• Support the development of independent living and orientation/mobility skills
• Utilize assistive technology and adaptive materials in day-to-day lessons
• Advocate for full participation and engagement of students in all school activities
• Maintain organized and thorough documentation in compliance with program standards

This position features a Monday-Friday 37.5-hour workweek, providing structured time to work closely with students and colleagues.
