Qualifications:

• Valid teaching certification with a specialization in visual impairment
• Experience teaching or supporting students with visual impairments, preferably in a K-12 school setting

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills when working with students, families, and educational teams
• Skilled in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) or 504 plans

• Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise on visual impairment supports and goals
• Offer guidance and training to teachers, staff, and families around best practices for inclusion
