This position focuses on providing direct and indirect instruction to approximately 23 students, including one who is learning Braille. You will not be managing cases, allowing you to dedicate your energy to impactful teaching and student support.

Qualifications:

• Valid Minnesota PELSB-issued special education Blind or Visually Impaired (BVI) teaching license (required)
• Experience working with students who are visually impaired
• Passion for individualized instruction and inclusive practices
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educational teams

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and indirect instructional services to assigned students
• Provide Braille instruction, where needed
• Collaborate with educators and support staff to adapt curriculum and resources
• Monitor student progress and communicate effectively with stakeholders
