Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Illinois State License (IL SLI) required
  • Professional Educator License (PEL) required

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver tailored instruction and support to students with visual impairments
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to create inclusive learning environments
  • Provide ongoing assessment and progress monitoring
  • Maintain clear documentation and actively participate in team meetings
