A school in Roxbury Crossing, MA is seeking a dedicated and skilled Visually Impaired Teacher to support students with visual impairments. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to the needs of visually impaired students
- Provide specialized instruction, using adaptive techniques and assistive technologies

- Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
- Train and support staff and families in understanding visual impairments and appropriate accommodations
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Certification or licensure in Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) or related endorsement
- Experience working with students who have varying degrees of visual impairment
- Knowledge of assistive technologies and braille instruction
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to create engaging, accessible instructional materials
