Key Qualifications:

  • Active Massachusetts Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) certification or license
  • Experience working with students who are visually impaired, preferably across multiple grade levels (K-12)
  • Strong communication and advocacy skills to collaborate with school staff, families, and service providers
  • Ability to adapt curriculum and utilize assistive technology to meet individualized needs
  • Commitment to professional growth and ongoing learning

Your Role Will Include:

  • Providing direct and consultative instructional support to students with visual impairments across K-12 settings
  • Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with each students unique needs
  • Collaborating with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student independence and access
  • Training staff on the use of adaptive tools and instructional accommodations
  • Monitoring student progress and documenting outcomes in alignment with educational goals

Compensation for this position ranges from $35.00 to $55.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
