A full-time or part-time opportunity is available for a skilled Visually Impaired Teacher to work onsite in Peabody, MA. This contract position runs from ASAP through June 18, 2026, offering a chance to provide specialized instruction to visually impaired students within a supportive school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored educational support and instruction for students with visual impairments
- Collaborate with school staff and families to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Implement strategies to enhance learning and independence for visually impaired students
- Maintain accurate records and progress documentation
- Utilize specialized tools and resources to facilitate learning
Qualifications:
- Active Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (MA DOE) VI Teacher License
- Successful completion of all required MTEL exams
- Proven experience teaching students with visual impairments in a school setting
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to fostering inclusive and engaging learning environments
