Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI)

Location: Oviedo, FL

Schedule: Full-Time | ASAP 5/25/2027

Hours: 35 hours per week | MondayFriday

Position Overview:
A local school district is actively interviewing Teachers for the Visually Impaired (TVI) to support students in a school-based setting. This role focuses on providing specialized instruction and ensuring students have access to curriculum and classroom materials. Caseload details are TBD.

TVI Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct instruction and support to students with visual impairments
  • Adapt and modify instructional materials to meet student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
  • Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with student plans and services

TVI Requirements:

  • Active FL Educator Certification
  • National TVI Certification
