A full-time opportunity is available for a Teacher specializing in Visual Impairments to serve K-12 students in the Norfolk, Chesapeake, and Suffolk, Virginia areas. This contract position runs from August 2025 through May 2026, providing educational services to students who are visually impaired within public school settings.

Key Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Virginia Endorsement in Blindness & Visual Impairments (mandatory)
  • Experience working with visually impaired students across K-12 grade levels
  • Ability to design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Strong communication and situational problem-solving skills suitable for an educational environment

Location and Schedule:

  • Work locations include Norfolk, Chesapeake, and Suffolk, VA
  • Full-time position, approximately 37.5 hours per week
  • Contract duration aligns with the 2025-2026 school year, from August to May
