What We're Looking For:

• Current Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) licensure is required
• Experience delivering services to students K-21
• Proven skills in completing evaluations and developing/writing IEPs
• Comfort working across multiple grade levels, including transition-aged youth
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities
• Detail-oriented and able to manage a caseload effectively
• Commitment to fostering accessible learning opportunities

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction and support for a caseload of approximately 9 students with visual impairments
• Adapt curriculum and materials to meet individual needs across K-12 and adult transition programs
• Complete student evaluations, participate in IEP meetings, and write IEP goals, objectives, and progress reports
• Consult with classroom teachers and staff to ensure accessible educational environments
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to all district protocols
• Participate in training and required onboarding, including fingerprinting

This assignment spans the 2026-2027 school year, offering 2025 hours per week with a supportive and collaborative team. Interviews are conducted virtually, and hiring decisions are made quickly.
