Make a meaningful impact supporting students with visual impairments as a dedicated professional providing services near Mc Gregor, TX. In this part-time, contract position, you'll collaborate with a district that values onsite instruction for its students. Youll work with a manageable caseload of 7 studentsnone require braille or are completely blindallowing you to build individualized strategies that unlock students full potential and support their inclusion and success.

Position Details and Requirements:

• Start Date: School year schedule, beginning September 2, 2026
• Part-time hours: 8-10 hours per week
• Caseload: 7 students from various age groups, assignments to specific schools to be determined
• On-site support required (district indicated virtual wont be helpful to their students)
• Must have a valid Texas Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TX TVI) credential

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for visually impaired students
• Conduct assessments and document student progress
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to facilitate accommodations and modifications
• Provide direct instruction tailored to the needs and abilities of each student
• Support families and educators by offering resources and training related to visual impairment
