- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to develop and implement personalized education plans
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver individualized lesson plans to support the diverse learning needs of visually impaired students
- Assess students strengths and needs, adjusting instructional methods and materials accordingly
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, paraprofessionals, and families to promote accessibility and inclusion
- Provide training and support for the use of Braille, large print, and assistive technologies
- Monitor progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with educational standards and policies
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of learning goals
