What Youll Need:

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with students, families, and staff
  • Ability to individualize educational strategies to meet diverse learner needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, accessible instruction to students with visual impairments across grade levels
  • Assess student abilities, develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and monitor progress
  • Collaborate with general and special education teams on adaptations, modifications, and accessible materials
  • Instruct and support students in the use of Braille, orientation and mobility skills, and assistive devices
