Key Qualifications:
- GA Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) License required.
- Experience supporting students who are blind or have low vision, including braille instruction.
- Ability to travel between multiple school locations.
- Strong communication and consultative skills for working with students and staff.
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative services to a caseload of eight students across four to five schools.
- Provide specialized instruction for students with individualized education plans (IEPs), including those who are totally blind and use braille.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff on best practices for visually impaired learners.
- Travel locally between school sites, averaging 5 hours per week.
