Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Ohio TVI (Teacher of the Visually Impaired) certification required
• Experience or interest in working with K-12 students in diverse educational settings
• Ability to adapt instruction and materials for students with varying visual needs and learning styles
• Collaborative mindset to partner with classroom staff and specialists
• Strong communication and organization skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct instructional services to students with visual impairments, individually or in small groups
• Assess students needs and tailor educational plans accordingly
• Consult with teachers, staff, and parents to provide strategies and resources for accessible learning
• Utilize adaptive technologies and materials as appropriate
• Travel between sites within the district to provide services as scheduled
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to IEP meetings
