Qualifications:

Role Overview:

  • Provide targeted instruction and adaptive strategies to K-12 students with visual impairments
  • Consult with classroom teachers and specialists to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and accommodations
  • Assess student performance and adjust teaching methods as necessary
  • Advocate for accessible learning materials and technologies
  • Offer guidance and resources to families and school staff to support student progress
  • Commit to serving students 6-7 hours per month, on-site one day per week
