Key Qualifications:
- Certification in teaching students with visual impairments
- Experience working within school settings preferred

- Commitment to creating accessible and engaging lessons
Role Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized instruction based on students unique needs
- Adapt classroom materials, resources, and technology for students with visual impairments
- Conduct functional vision assessments and provide recommendations to educational teams
- Support classroom teachers in modifying lessons and activities for accessibility
- Teach braille, orientation & mobility skills, and assistive technology as needed
- Communicate progress and strategies to families and staff
- Advocate for the inclusion and success of students in general education environments
