This contract opportunity invites fully licensed professionals to support K-12 learners in York County, Pennsylvania, for the 2025-2026 academic year. As an onsite, itinerant teacher, youll play a pivotal role helping students across multiple districts reach their full potential in an inclusive educational environment.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Pennsylvania Teaching Certification for Teachers of the Visually Impaired (TVI)
• Experience supporting students with visual impairments in a K-12 school setting
• Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with district staff and multidisciplinary teams
• Willingness to travel between multiple school locations within York County
• Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instructional support to students with visual impairments across assigned school districts: Southern, South Eastern, and Dallastown
• Serve as a resource and consultant to general and special education staff, assisting with adaptations and accommodations
• Collaborate with families, other education professionals, and support staff to foster student academic, social, and emotional growth
• Conduct ongoing assessments of students functional vision and educational progress
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
