This full-time position offers at least 37.5 hours per week, but if youre interested in part-time work, there may be flexibility depending on district needs. Caseload assignments will be determined during the interview process to best align with your skills, preferences, and experience, ensuring an engaging and personally meaningful placement.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Georgia teaching certificate specifically for Teachers of the Visually Impaired (TVI)
• Prior experience working with students with visual impairments, preferably across K-12
• Strong organizational skills with a willingness to complete daily service documentation logs
• Exceptional communication and collaborative abilities

Responsibilities Include:

• Delivering individualized instructional support to students with visual impairments in an inclusive, resource, or self-contained setting
• Developing and implementing educational plans tailored to each students abilities and needs
• Collaborating with classroom teachers, related service providers, and families
• Completing timely daily logs to accurately document all services provided
• Participating in IEP meetings, evaluations, and school-based teams
