A contract position is available for a skilled educator specializing in teaching students with visual impairments. This role is based in Fort Worth, TX, and focuses on providing tailored instruction and support to visually impaired students within a school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for visually impaired students
- Utilize specialized teaching techniques and assistive technology to enhance learning
- Collaborate with general education staff and related service providers to integrate students effectively
- Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly
- Provide training and resources to staff and families to support visually impaired learners
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal regulations regarding special education services
Desired Qualifications:
- Certification or licensure in visual impairment education
