Requirements:
- Active Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) credential in Florida
- Experience or strong interest working with high school-aged students (specifically 9th grade)
- Ability to commit to a travel contract in the Fort Lauderdale area
- Excellent adaptability and communication
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide visually impaired instruction and academic support for 9th grade students
- Deliver education services 46 minutes daily, Monday through Friday
- Collaborate closely with general/special educators and student support staff
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Monitor and communicate student progress regularly
