This position offers an exciting opportunity to support students with visual impairments in a dynamic school setting located in Riverview, FL. The role is ideal for a dedicated and qualified Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) who is passionate about making a meaningful impact on the educational experience of ninth-grade students.
Key Qualifications:
- Florida certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI)
- Experience working with visually impaired students in an educational environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and school staff
- Ability to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapt teaching strategies to meet students unique needs
Location:
- Riverview, Florida
Position Details:
- Contract position with a commitment of approximately 46 minutes per day, five days per week
- Focus on ninth-grade students with visual impairments
- Collaborative work within the school community to enhance student learning and independence
