A school in Flint, MI is seeking a qualified professional to serve as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired. This onsite contract position involves working with students from kindergarten through 12th grade. The role requires a dedicated individual with specialized skills in educating visually impaired students within a school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide instruction and support to K-12 students with visual impairments
- Develop and implement individualized education plans tailored to students needs
- Collaborate with school staff and families to ensure student success
- Maintain compliance with all applicable educational standards and district policies
Qualifications:
- Valid Michigan Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) license
- Professional experience working as a TVI in a school environment
- Ability to pass district fingerprinting requirements
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Schedule and Location:
- Onsite work in Flint, MI
- 35 hours per week
