This full-time position (Monday Friday, 37.5 hours per week) runs from August 10, 2026, through May 27, 2027, and serves students at elementary, middle, and high school levels. There are three openings for passionate Visual Impairment educators ready to make a difference.

Ideal qualifications:

  • Valid certification as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired
  • Experience or willingness to serve students across various grade levels
  • Knowledge of adaptive teaching methods and materials for visually impaired learners
  • Ability to conduct and interpret both formal and informal student assessments
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with ARD teams

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored instruction to students with visual impairments
  • Develop and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs) aligned with district requirements
  • Conduct ongoing assessments to measure and report student achievement
  • Attend and contribute to ARD (Admission, Review, Dismissal) meetings
  • Adapt and utilize instructional resources to maximize student engagement and success
