Key Qualifications:

  • Current and valid Georgia Teacher of the Visually Impaired certification
  • Minimum of two years of hands-on experience in the field

  • Strong communication skills for collaborating with school staff, families, and other related service providers
  • Organizational abilities to manage caseload efficiently and ensure compliance with all educational regulations

Responsibilities:

  • Provide both direct and indirect specialized instruction to students with visual impairments
  • Oversee thorough case management, including documentation and coordination of services
  • Monitor student progress through data collection and update educational plans accordingly
  • Support educational teams with resources, professional insight, and accessible materials
