Qualifications:

• Valid Georgia PSC certification with endorsement in Vision Impairment/Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI)
• Practical experience supporting students with visual impairments in educational settings
• Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and related compliance processes
• Ability to consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
• Knowledge of assistive technology and accessibility strategies

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct, individualized instruction according to IEP requirements in two 30-minute sessions each month
• Work closely with classroom teachers to develop and implement effective accommodations and accessible lesson materials
• Advise on the appropriate use of assistive technology and classroom modifications
• Track student progress and communicate relevant updates and recommendations to the schools instructional team
• Ensure all IEP accommodations are provided and documented consistently
• Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment
