Key Qualifications:
- Hold an active Georgia TVI licensure or certification
- Possess a current Georgia Educator Certificate
- Experience with Braille and expanded core curriculum preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative TVI services to students with visual impairments
- Support both Braille and expanded core curriculum instruction, tailored to individual student needs
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, providing written and verbal input as a key member of the student support team
- Engage in ongoing progress monitoring and documentation to track student development and achievement
- Complete Medicaid billing documentation where applicable, ensuring compliance with state and district requirements
- Collaborate with school staff to implement inclusive educational strategies and provide training as needed
Role Schedule:
- Contract spans from July 31, 2026, through June 3, 2027
- Customize your role: Choose part-time hours (20 per week if open to Brailling or 7-8 hours/week without Brailling)
