Make a positive impact as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired, serving students across various ages and caseloads near Columbus, OH. This contract opportunity spans the upcoming school year (August 11, 2026 May 21, 2027), offering the chance to work closely with students at different locations based on their needs. Key Experience & Qualifications:

• Active Ohio Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) certification required
• Experience supporting visually impaired students in educational settings
• Comfortable traveling between school sites, with occasional home visits as necessary
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt lesson plans and strategies for diverse learning environments
• Familiarity with assistive technologies for visually impaired learners is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction to students with visual impairments, adapting curriculum to their unique needs
• Work collaboratively with classroom teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation on student progress and educational outcomes
• Offer consultation and training to educational staff regarding accessibility accommodations and best practices
• Flexibly manage a caseload spread across multiple buildings; occasional homebound instruction may be required
