An opportunity is available for a skilled Teacher for the Visually Impaired to support multiple school districts in Washington County, PA. This full-time, onsite contract role runs from ASAP until June 16, 2026, offering a dynamic setting serving students from Kindergarten through 12th grade. The position involves traveling between various district sites and managing a diverse K-12 caseload.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction and support to visually impaired students across multiple districts
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to ensure comprehensive educational services
- Travel regularly to different school sites within Washington County to fulfill caseload requirements
Qualifications:
- Active Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) Educator Certification is required
- Experience working with visually impaired students in a K-12 educational setting
- Ability and comfort with traveling between multiple school locations to service students
- Strong communication and organizational skills for managing a varied caseload
