Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired during the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year. This contract opportunity offers the chance to provide specialized support and instruction in an onsite setting near Christiana, TN. Working closely with a small caseload of three students, you will help foster independence, learning, and inclusion in the school community.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Tennessee Educator Certification for Teachers of the Visually Impaired (TVI)
• Experience or training working with students who are blind or visually impaired
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Commitment to individualized instruction and accessibility
• Ability to adapt curriculum and materials for visual impairments

Your Impact and Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct instruction and support to students with visual impairments in accordance with their IEPs
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, families, and related service providers to develop strategies that promote student participation
• Adapt instructional materials and recommend appropriate assistive technologies

• Advocate for student needs and ensure a positive and inclusive educational environment
